Fujiya should have it.

If not, Sakuraya on Broadway or Konbiniya on Robson. Izumiya in Richmond, maybe.

If those places don't have it, Yamato Trading close to Fujiya. They are only open weekdays and Saturday morning. They are not really retail - restaurant suppliers, but will sell you stuff.

I love that stuff, man. They used to have it in bigger cans.

Craving curry? sprinkle some of that S & B and you've got curry in a hurry............. hey that rhymes............ I'm a poet and I didn't even know it!

Does anyone know where I can get a CR025 button cell battery locally? The battery in my garage remote died. Tried Canadian Tire and they only had tiny ones

Oddly enough, I find that dollar stores can have a pretty big variety of these batteries.

godwin 08-10-2014 02:11 PM

$stores are the best bet if you are in a hurry but they are iffy on longevity.

The best button batteries I have found are from Maxwell which you can get cheaper than $stores on eBay.

Energizer button batteries off eBay. Silver Oxide lasts way longer and amazing shelf life.

Also, London Drugs, Princess Auto, KMS Tools.

EDIT: My bad, I was thinking of the LR-44 batteries, in which case, SR-44 (Silver Oxide) batteries are better. As for CR025's, lithium batteries are better. Getting the Maxell batteries off eBay like godwin suggested is the best way to go. So much cheaper.

it's around $25 a can iirc, best if you can leave a painted body part for them to colour match to.

Got it at Fujiya, it was kinda expensive ($6.33 for 37 grams). Only had the spicy version, but all good.

Made Japanese curry from scratch with the wife last night, turned out awesome, but took freaking forever.

I got tired of using the pre-made curry roux blocks, and this was a good alternative

Used the recipes here:

Just ordered over the phone. $28+tax, next day turnaround, went off paint code (requested by them).
I'll report back on how close it is.

Thanks again.

Does anyone know of a solution for this type of shower drain. Is there a mesh filter that would work that will catch hair so I don't have to snake/draino all the time.

Apparently the Galloways food stores are close in Richmond and Burnaby.. looking for alternatives. Thanks!

Cheap, simple, effective.

Try Drive Organics or Sweet Cherebuim next door on Commercial?

Note the majority of our walnut comes from California, because of the drought the price will probably shoot up once the harvest season finishes in the fall.
