I used to work by there and went there often for random snacks, groceries, and flowers. Your auntie has a good little shop :toot:

I would hook up RS members if I owned the store, but unfortunately I don't. Honestly her prices aren't unreasonable for the quality of work she does.

Good luck bro, they came out a year ago in limited quantities so your best bet is craigslist. Sister has one though :troll:

Can't verify root beer, but Buy Low on Broadway in Burnaby (east of Holdom) carries Boylan soda singles. If I make my way there anytime soon I can update this.

Nesters Market has it for sure, says youre in Richmond so closest Nesters is Main and 29th.

I'm sure a lot of other places carry as well. Also I don't recall the price at Nesters.

Those little round mirror things for side mirrors that don't cost a fortune. Prefer dollar store.

Someone in the hobby business might be able to help me with this.

What is the strongest thin cable available?

A friend of mine inherited an awesome but big ass hand-made airplane model from his uncle. It weights a lot (I'd say easily 60lb+) as it was made of solid wood. The idea of my friend is to hang it so it looks like it's suspended mid-air. What would the thinnest strong cable to achieve such feat? And if so, where to get it in Vancouver?

I thought about piano wire as it can easily withstand hundreds of lbs. But it's not exactly thin and quite visible.

NCIX may have the cheaper ones.

Also, Monoprice makes decent cheap ones - I bought one years ago and it still works.

Funnily enough, it's very very cheap. The "light" that shows you which HDMI output is working is actually an orange piece of plastic that just moves away from the see-through button lol

Anyone know where I can source a 4A-GE blacktop? Know of any good importers with a good rep?

Have you thought about a high strength fishing wire? Something for catching Marlin or other large fish would probably work.

Your local fishing specialist (not Walmart, but a true fishing/outdoor store) will be able to help you find some fishing line that will hold it. A proper store has everything from the transparent plastic line we all think of, all the way to braided stainless line for shark fishing.

Bonus points, they will have eyelets and such for tying which make your hanging job look good too.

*edit* apparently I should read the last post before replying :P

Might be a long shot but has anyone ever seen a product like this:

Basically it's sheets of brick, like youd get in a kitchen backsplash but they are about 2x2' having a hard time finding something similar that comes in sheets like this
