I've seen something similar to this at Daiso a while back. Might be worth a try if you're in the area and probably cheaper than Home Depot if they've got it in stock.

I'd just cut some at 45* and make the corners myself.

I saw selfie sticks being sold at a kiosk in metrotown, retails around $15-30 for one depending on the features. The most basic one is literally an extendable rod with clamps to clamp onto your phone - you need to set your cellphone's camera to a 3/5/10 second timer and hit the shoot button on your phone and then extend the stick
The other ones have built in bluetooth where you connect your phone to the stick and you can press the button on the stick to snap a picture or an additional remote to snap the picture.

I got mine from Amazon for 5 bucks that works just as well (the basic one) though.

So I was @ costco in poco before New Years and they had "Canadian" (american) style Wagyu Rib Eye steaks about $50-55 for 2 steaks the marbling is waaaaay more than the USDA Prime grade they sell @ costco in the states (but it's double the price)

Anyway my question is does anyone know where I can get more? costco only had 2 packs when I was there and they didn't have any today :/

They sell them on Costco.ca but for a lot more ($20 more for 2) :suspicious:

Anyone see them offered at any other costcos?

Hondaracer 01-02-2015 12:16 PM

Never at willingdon or the Lougheed Costco as far as I can remember or else I would have picked some up

fliptuner 01-02-2015 12:28 PM

There were at least a dozen packs last Sat. (poco). Did you ask the butcher if/when they're restocking?

Bed Bath & Beyond in Coquitlam had them, but sold out - I was there today. Perhaps some of their other locations will have them.

Didn't ask today but I asked the guy unloading meats onto the floor before new years and he said he didn't know if they would be, said he heard it was just a new years special and asked me to ask one of the guys behind the glass but they were way too busy :/

Going to be retiring my old plain cup/mug. Looking for one that has a cool picture/design or quote on it.

Need Help

Looking for a cheap cardboard box for a dozen of cupcakes

Thanks

Lowered_Klass 01-03-2015 09:51 AM

Hit up a liquor store. They always have boxes (free). Might need to modify one to suit your needs, but free is free lol. Ones used for flats of beer would be perfect, unless you need a lid, in which case you could use another one to cover it.

Just thinking out loud lol

go to any photo place: superstore, walmart, costco, and do up a custom mug with a pic on it. you get to choose your own cool pic or a pic/graphic of a quote...i think they range from $8-15 depending where and if there's a sale or not.

get a good quality plastic one from bed bath and beyond and then you won't have to worry about it in the future. It always turns into cake carrying container
