If you're an old man, what does that make me?

Some of us seniors are pretty hip, you know................

I was more referring to the "how do I use it?", but I suppose I should have quoted that part.

Does anyone know where I can find a place that sell and cut wood slab (reclaimed or something cheap)? I need something that's apx 4' x 2' so not very big... Thanks

fliptuner 01-05-2015 11:00 AM

Does it matter what kind of wood and the thickness?

HD sells off-cuts and damaged pieces at a reduced rate and can cut them however you want. Depends what's available at each store though.

depends on the type of wood you need.

like ice said, home depot usually has off cuts.

if you're looking for something specific, windsor plywood and nucasa usually have access to the specialty stuff.

I drive by this place all the time I go to Costco on WIllingdon.

Jack's New & Used Building Materials - New & Used Building Materials

Give them a call. One day, I will just stop by and check the place out.

Are you looking for fresh or just the vacuum packed stuff? I've seen the vacuum packed stuff at Costco, Superstore and T&T. If you're near Cloverdale, I've seen signs for Sundance Seafoods selling direct to public. They're on Highway/Hwy 15 intersection

Yeah, vacuum packed. Was planning on trying Costco tomorrow... but was wondering if there were some better places.

Anyway my question is does anyone know where I can get more? costco only had 2 packs when I was there and they didn't have any today :/

They sell them on Costco.ca but for a lot more ($20 more for 2) :suspicious:

Anyone see them offered at any other costcos?

PoCo, just now. Although, last time I saw them, there was more marbling and they just looked better in general.
