Where to get fake rainbow flowers like this? They must be fake. Apparently Yaohan Centre might have them but I'm not familiar with that mall.

Boss foods I'm thinking would be your best bet. If you like olives I swear they have 100 different kinds.

MG1 01-15-2015 06:05 PM

^you mean Bosa Foods, right?

That place is amazing....... eye candy.

The new store next to VPD is nice, but the original store on Victoria Drive has so much charm.

Hey guys. I'm looking for an adapter to connect an ISO-butane container (like you'd use with a backpacking stove) to a regular butane canister that you'd use with a hotpot stove. I can order them online but I'd prefer to buy local first.

Two different style connector, either one works.

Located on Knight and (between King Edward and Kingsway) is a florist that carries these fake colored flowers and those plush toy flowers. Its a small store located right across the big apartment building (or across from VPL).
Their store front has many to choose from.

Always see it on my way to work.

Located in Yaohan 2nd floor, across from the old japanese magazine store (or across the Fido store). Its a DIY craft store that sells yarn, and all supplies. They pretty much have pre-made toys/animals ready for sale.
Been told they can replicate almost any animals as long as they have a preset template.

I would say that Mountain Equipment Co-Op is your best bet.

Looking for my favourite instant ramen of all time

Nissin Sesame Chicken Stir Noodles

http://raanthai.co.uk/shop/CHN025LG.jpg

I've been craving it on and off through the years, but could never find it

My mom used to get it at Chong Lee's, but I haven't seen it there every time I went (once in a blue moon)

TIA!

Sadly I haven't seen it at any sporting goods store. It would take away from profits of those stupid isobutane cans lol

Looking for seaweed salad that Costco sometimes carries. Not sure which location I went to so I'm hoping that RS can help out.

MG1 01-23-2015 07:52 PM

The seaweed salad at Kims on Broadway near Fraser Street is pretty close to the one Cosco carries. Cheaper, too.

As for Costco, only the US Costco locations carry the seaweed salad. Perhaps later in the year they'll have them again up here. I bought some seaweed salad with Hijiki last year while I was in Seattle. Damn, it was good. Unfortunately, hijiki is banned up here in Canada.

MG1 01-23-2015 08:11 PM

If you find this, let me know. I've been looking for it for years too! I've sadly come to the conclusion that they're not longer made. They had one or two other flavours in the stir line.

We at the Richmond location stopped carrying it maybe 2 months ago. No idea why since it was a super hot seller. If we got rid of it in Richmond it's a safe bet they all have. Next time you go into any location just ask them to look it up and see if any of the other lower mainland locations do still carry it.

anyway bought it from t&t also back in the day

MG1 01-24-2015 10:36 AM

Totally forgot that Fujiya has both types of seaweed salad in bulk. One is the green kind, full of colouring and the not so colourful but better for you.

Razor Ramon HG 01-24-2015 10:38 AM

Seems like they might have discontinued the entire Nissin Stir Fry line..

Can't seem to find anywhere online that has it in-stock, and the Nissin HK website doesn't seem to have it listed as well.

Damn, those noodles were even better than Mi Goreng.

MG1 01-24-2015 09:07 PM

I'm not embarrassed to ask or talk about it......

Where can one buy man wipes locally?

Wet Wipes Take Male Grooming Below the Belt

Fellas, Dude Wipes, etc.

Cleanliness is next to godliness........... Weed Jesus has spoken, LOL.

320icar 01-24-2015 10:45 PM

top gear top tip: baby wipes are great for interior cleaning of your car! just dont use on your window as the detergent on them will smear

Anyone have any suggestions for a good mens facial cleanser to use in the morning that can improve dryness/skin complexion? Thanks.

This is a tough one.

Everyone's skin is different and depending on various factors, there is no single best cleanser out there.

You'll likely how to try a few different ones to find the one that works for you. Give each about a week and see how it works out.
