Anyone know of a specialty fastener store that's open weekends? Looking for flat head security torque machine screws ASAP, but all the specialty fastener stores are only open weekdays while I'm at work like Fastenal, BC fasteners ect.

Try calling Sabre Industrial. There's one in Port Kells and one in Tilbury.

I think i've seen some at City Cigar in Vancouver. In the display case/table as you walk in. Probably better off calling to check.

Anyone knows where to get nutrition labeling done?

A friend of mine makes some incredible smoke meats. We are looking to help him to setup an online shop for him to sell them and from research, in order to legally sell them (packaged), we need to obtain nutrition analysis (for label) for his products.

We found a lab out in the East to do this... anything local?

Call Urban Alpine in Squamish. If they have one, I can buy it and bring it south for you tomorrow. Otherwise Bestbuy.ca is showing a number of options that are in stock at various locations in Vancouver. Cambie is set as my 'home' store, and it's got quite a few wrist/tether options in stock.

Alternative, not sure if it'll apply to smoked meats (though it should..). My workplace used software to analyze their products. Pretty sure there's a list of approved programs somewhere (vaguely remember the gov sending a letter when the law came into effect). I'll ask and see if they can give me the name of the program. From what I remember, it worked out to be cheaper for them to buy the program than send it to a lab.

Awesome! Do let me know as we are lost in how to proceed with this.

The kitchen director did this also by calculating the recipe ingredients by portions and doing the required math. Only works if you already know the values for ingredients used... doesn't account for additives etc. As he did it for organic product

Biercraft has it, not sure if they have it for off sales. Had a pint the other day. GL

Edit* bartender buddy just let me know they are out of stock on the white ale, but they do have ichigo red ale in stock if your interested.
