Narrow band hose clamps?

Long story short, I used T-Bolt Clamps on the Coupe Quattro project, but knew there was one joint that needed a narrow band (~5mm or less) hose clamp at full boost. Would rather not be blowing a hose off the intercooler at GCVWs drag night, so anyone know where I can get narrow hose clamps? 2.5-3" ID, 5mm or thinner band.

Where to find a good selection of aftershave balms and lotions other than the minimal selection found at drug stores (walmart, shoppers drugmart, etc.) and any recommendations?

Would a CV boot clamp work in this application? I've never seen narrow screw type clamps that narrow with that large of an ID.

Have you considered metal zip ties? That's the only thing I can think of that's so narrow.

Won't be able to get enough clamping force with those (I suspect). I know they are "out there" and available, I've seen plenty of race cars with narrow hose-clamps, just can't find 'em locally.

Have you tried New-Line Hose and Fittings? If not, they'd definitely be worth a call.

How much force do you need? Use pliers to get it tight, then bend the loose end back so it can't back off. The only downside is you'll have to cut it everytime you need to take it off.

Where can I find giant greeting cards?

Suprarz666 08-16-2015 07:38 PM

Anyone know where to buy a long microUsb to cigarette lighter cable locally??

I need something exactly like this.
It's needed so I can swap my dashcam from car to car. Needs to be long enough so I can run it along the A-pillar and hide it.

Micro-USB Power Cable

Looking for a transformer to convert voltage to be able to use a 220V machine. I don't know the wattage requirement of the machine, but I'd imagine it's pretty big as it's a commercial sewing machine. Although the exchange rate sucks, I'd be open to buying from the states too.

Check what type of plug is on it. If it's commercial I'm betting it needs a dedicated 220V line and a step up converter will not work.

A little late, but we had them when I worked at Staples (I left in 2011).

snowball 08-18-2015 12:58 AM

^ Also they do carry those at London drugs but not in the usual battery section at the checkouts. They are in the camera section where there are many odd sized batteries.
