I've DIY'd once before and the result wasn't exactly stellar. So, I'd love to have a pro who can do it for a small fee.

n what way? They're like 4 bolts.

Grab level, trace line at desired height. Have wall mount screw points overlap that line.. Make sure you screw into the studs. Dun like dinner..

Any handy man on CL would be able to do this cheap.. It's a pretty easy job.

dat_steve 08-27-2015 09:06 AM

matcha powder on the cheap?

Canadian Tire but Lee Valley Tools might be your best bet.

Exactly, I'm sure most of us could find a buddy that's decently handy if nothing else.

Standoff Bolts like these? (to hold a glass/acrylic frame)

Anywhere besides Industrial Paints & Plastics that I can buy large-ish 1/8" ABS sheets? Home Depot comes to mind but they were more exp than Industrial IIRC

Home Depot, probably in with the other specialty fasteners.

If you haven't already I would also try craft places like Michael's or Wal-Mart in the craft or photo frames sections.

Anyone know where I could find a 27mm deep socket for a vw fuel injector? Princess Auto had a deep socket, but not sure if it'll work. Lordco, B&J, Cambodian Tire and Home Depot were all no goes.

anyone know a place to get a gore-tex rain jacket in Richmond or Vancouver?
I'm looking for a simple black one (most places I've checked only have bright colors) and preferably not over $300

Looking to buy cheap replica/or plastic WW2 M1/M2 helmets under $50. Do you guys know where I can find those?

Try contacting the guys at DS Tactical, they're in New Westminster. I haven't been there in years though.

Costco has sales on these pretty regularly so if you're looking to get Michelin ones, you can find them there.

Home Depot has wipers for fairly cheap, too. Really!

Okay, so I love my Husky rolling toolbox with sliding lid... Or I did, until Air Canada smashed it :failed:

Now I'm looking for a replacement, but can't find anywhere in town that still has these, under any name. Found some places in the Midwest US that sell them under the name Keter.

If anyone knows somewhere locally that still carries this model, I'd love you long time.

I doubt that many stores here will stock something that bulky

Just cross the border HD and Walmart are selling them under $50

Keter Masterloader, Red - Walmart.com
Keter Master Pro 24-1/4 in. Utility Cart-197481 - The Home Depot

^^^ not exactly sorry, but i recall, checking out Festool's modular-storage/dolly system, not sure if it's a suitable alternative?

Storage Systems Accessories - Festool Power Tools

you can stack up different storage boxes that they have onto their dolly system

http://www.festoolcanada.com/images/...r-499901-2.jpg

gets pricey though

edit: oh whoops, godwin found the exact thing you're looking for

I got it at Home Depot in the first place... they definitely have "bulkier", they just don't have that model any more.

Thanks - I checked Harbor Freight but didn't think to try HD down there. Might be time for a little drive to Bellingham tomorrow :)

Hmmm, Home Depot says it's online-only, though they can ship to the store.

Walmart, I can't tell from the website if it's actually available in store, though it does say in-store pickup isn't available.

Was hoping to replace this before I have to head out of town again on Tuesday.
