Where can I get good quality Canadian flag temporary tattoos? best google gets me is Home Hardware.

jinxcrusader 11-08-2015 12:10 PM

I can't confirm but I usually find those stuff in the dollar stores at the kid/toys section near the stickers.

Good quality gaffer tape?

Need to keep some cables in place but need something that doesn't leave residue at all (or at least easy to remove).

Got a generic one at Can tire and it was crap.

Manic! 11-08-2015 05:02 PM

Long and Macquarie has gaffers tape. $25 a roll.

Not sure if i'm just blind (could be lol), but I couldn't find it there. Albeit I checked the Surrey and Metro locations.

They don't have it here. (I looked everywhere)

It has a short shelf life, making it very difficult for mass import. Even the one I can find in Taiwan usually doesn't last more than 2 weeks before expiration.

I usually just fill my carry-on with it in a big thermo bag (and icepack) whenever I fly back from TPE. My kid/wife absolutely love this. Then, suddenly they banned icepack. :fuckthatshit:

I have been to Fentiman's site but their list is really out of date (ie several BC stores have gone out of business or no longer carry it). Rather than driving around, would love to know of anybody who knows of a place where I can buy Fentiman's Tonic at a decent price (ie not $2.99/200ml bottle).

Cheers,
Mark

I've never seen it locally for cheap.
I pick it up from gourmet warehouse 1340 east Hastings in the back of the store

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone had some insight as to where I could create a custom book with my illustrations?

I know staples/kinkos offers some form of binding, but for something a little more formal as a gift idea, I have a series of images I've created and would like to have them compiled in a hardcover format. Ideally it would be some service that would not lay claim to any images contained. Thanks!

If you don't mind going online, Apple and My Publisher come to mind.

OS$X - Print$Products - Apple (Canada)

I have personally used My Publisher with excellent results. The overall process and turnaround is quick. I did however have to pay customs fees with my last order.

I had a custom book made into a hard cover at Rasmussen (now Centennial) Book Binding in North Vancouver. Your imagination and wallet is the limit.

Anyone here know where I can buy a cast-iron bell? I want one about 6 inches tall, and 8 inches in diameter. I've asked around, and no one can tell me. Google didn't give me anything either.
