All really depends what kind of Keurig you want, cold or hot coffee, 2.0's won't work on older ones, almost worth just buying the right k-cups and not go through the hassle.

MG1 12-18-2015 02:44 PM

The 2.0 has its problems, but dat Carafe!

I do the hacks to get more hot water and bypass the trademark, but it is a freaking pain in the butt.

Good thing I have an older Keurig that sat around not being used much. All of a sudden, it has become the go-to maker. Have so many older non Keurig K-cups. Oh, if you register your new 2.0 and complain to them about the incompatible ones, they will send some K-Cups your way. Not sure if it's still honoured, as I'm pretty sure every tom, dick and harry has taken advantage of the offer.

DRM for freaking coffee is stupid, we just got one that you load your own coffee grounds into and it's a hell of a lot better.

MG1 12-18-2015 04:37 PM

Reminds me of the time I was at the PoCo Walmart. Girl was giving out samples of coffee made from Tim Horton's K-Cups. I mentioned to her it was too bad it wasn't compatible with the new 2.0. She insisted it was. I had to explain to her that even though the box states, "Compatible with all Keurig Brewers," it really isn't. She walks back to the Timmy's that's in Walmart to ask her supervisor about it and she comes back all apologetic.

Not her fault. I don't fully agree with the direction Keurig has chosen, but money talks.

They all taste like water.

The only one i've ever had that even remotely tasted like Coffee was a Tassimo "Espresso" disc

Not the espresso you get with the latte's however, just straight shots. Only thing worth the time

Anyone know where I can buy a coffee scooper and bag clip locally? Something similar to this Hile Kapu Coffee Scoop and Bag Closer | Coffee & Tea | Tableware | Finnish Design Shop

Thanks!

I ordered 10 springs rolls from Pho Hong on Kingsways, Burnaby for $21.

Great for potluck if you don't have time to cook! Each roll can be cut up into 4 pieces.

Ikea was selling toy trains and wooden tracks - probably your cheapest option. Not 'Christmas trains' but you can decorate your own!

Either that or toy stores will have the big boxes.

Budget Printing | Copies Express | Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby

I go hunt them down on a farm in Abbotsford. Fucking buzzards are pretty funky...... (don't do that no more - too hillbilly).

As for a normal place, Costco, but you gotta go get 'em soon. They either get sold out or some stupid recall happens, lol. One year they had a recall and I had to buy frozen.

For some god forsaken reason, Honest Tea, I cannot quote your post.

flagella 12-21-2015 05:22 PM

Where do you guys shop for windshield wipers locally other than Canadian Tire? Hoping to find some decent brand names like Rain-X or Bosch.

sonick 12-21-2015 05:23 PM

Costco or Walmart
