Ground loop isolator for 3.5mm 1/8" jack?

MG1 12-24-2015 06:13 PM

audiophile snobs would cringe........ but check out some of the DIY stuff on the Internet.

This is for a car bluetooth adapter, audio quality isn't the utmost importance

Food tent. Netting thing that folds up like an umbrella to keep bugs off food on table.

Been searching for a while, but have been told it's seasonal.

Lightning cable without the $21 price tag from Apple?

Is it true that aftermarket cables are not reliable and safe? Looking for 3-5 pieces.

hud 91gt 12-25-2015 09:37 AM

Apple cords are definitely the longest lasting. I've bought the cheap $1 ones to the $7 ones on amazon. There is a big difference. I'd go for a "higher quality" aftermarket piece... No idea where to get them locally though.

MG1 12-25-2015 09:58 AM

Apple lightning cables are MFi certified. Most aftermarket cheapies they sell at places like the night market are sub par. IMHO and past experiences, it's worth it in the long run to get the genuine stuff. Like someone once pointed out, why cheap out on something that may cause your $1,000.00 phone to fail or worse, catch on fire.

I bought some lightning cables from Lee's Electronics that were certified. Saved a few bucks, but not by much. The thing has lights that show charging status - Danboard inspired. http://leeselectronic.com/product/15...able&results=8

Are these no good as well?

MG1 12-25-2015 01:12 PM

those, if they are indeed certified, should be good.

No problems using the Lightning cables from Belkin

Care to explain how that's supposed to be possible? I'm pretty sure it isn't.

Mr.Money 12-27-2015 10:16 AM

my bro bought one of those 6 dollar replacement cables at a gas station and it lasted 5 days...Haha!.

MG1 12-27-2015 10:18 AM

Yeah. I've only seen them at dollar stores in the spring/summer.

Radio Shack has a nice wireless version that only requires to be charged once and a while, much better as you can tuck it away and not take up any ports.
