This has got to be the worst home defense option.

and to share a story of japan,A High ranking member was attacked in the 1800's...they caught him...Got 4 people to each cut his arm,leg....and quickly sealed his wounds with fire torches and threw him in a hole to suffer for 3 weeks before dying of infected wounds

Best home defense item is a putter, since it's the easiest to explain away afterwards.

hud 91gt 02-23-2016 09:38 AM

1/8" chrome pin stripping. I know were not in the 80's anymore but I can't god this stuff Anywhere! Lordco, michaels, hobby stores. Nada. They use to carry at Canadian Tire but I haven't found it anywhere.

Any ideAs? Just need a small amount. About 1' if I'm good. A couple feet if I suck.

Can anyone walk into fabory and purchase items or do you need some kind of membership?

CCA-Dave 02-23-2016 09:30 PM

Hmmm, last time I bought from Fabory was before Grainger bought them. But I've never had a problem. From _any_ of the sources I listed you may need to buy a bag or box of them, they aren't likely to sell you two. But, that's the cost of playing the game. Give any of them a call tomorrow, and simply ask if they "do counter sales?". If they say yes, ask to check stock on what you need.

-Dave

Edit* Oh, and Fastenal. They may have to order them in for you, you'll definitely need to order a bag or box, but they'll sell to you. This is my usual fastener stop when I'm not buying from our local source here in Squamish. Obviously the NVan location is best for where I live.

Go to Army & Navy and get yourself a machete.

And always pronounce it: ma-che-tay. You'll get mad street cred and thieves will think twice.

I picked up some at Whole Foods. If they don't have any in stock, just head to 49th parallel. Their bottled cold brew tastes similar.

hud 91gt 02-25-2016 07:12 PM

Platform 7 uses stump town coffee. Maybe they carry their cold brew.

heisenberg 02-29-2016 01:13 PM

looking specifically for a 2010 Acura TSX v6 Starter.

I have been around the local shops but they only carry for 4 bangers.

Acura themselves, is backed up 7 months.
