seoul cafe is a good spot for a quick and light meal followed by shaved ice. it was pretty decent and fairly quiet place. nice to sit down and talk for a while after. snowy village only serves shaved ice and taiyaki. i think its slightly better but not by much. i went yesterday and we were third in line and waited less than 10 minutes. by the time we left there were probably 7-8 groups waiting. it moves quick because inside its crazy busy and people don't usually stay to socialize long after they finish their food. i'd have no problem going back to either of these. i guess i havent had shaved ice in a really long time but the way they shave the ice these days is interesting. very light and fluffy |
