I swear I've seen it on shelves at the store on Broadway near Lillooet.

Always call first.

They've stocked cases of it on occasion (more often than not) at Ackyroyd BC Liquor Store in Richmond.

Does it have to be the specific brand? If not, I'm pretty sure I saw these all the time at Sportcheck and often Winners (both at Market x-ing)

Does in Vancouver anyone offer 3D printing services? Tried looking on Craigslist and only found a few industrial type services.

I'm just looking for someone to print out a coin holder. Will pay for the service. Or maybe they can point me to where I can buy something similar?

Here's a link of what I want printed:

MEC? Otherwise call up a climbing gym, they might be able to point you in the right direction.

You have to buy by the case though which is about $70?

Singles can be bought at that private liqour store in landsdowne, NOT cheap though.

It has been awhile though so ymmv.

You could just take a block of wood and drill those slots out with a drill press.

Absolutely. Make it from some hardwood with a nice grain. Rosewood, Purple Heart, or even Maple. Smooth, mirror finish. Way cooler, impressive, and natural than some starch based filament or whatever the printer uses. Hand made with loving touch trumps all. Just Saiyan.

Just a heads up, Asahi has sent out a letter that they will no longer be shipping BLACK to North America due to lack of sales. So stock up on it while you can boys.
:drunk:

I picked up a few cases for the restaurant recently so if you can't find any from retail and have a craving then come on down! :)

Best shop to buy moving boxes?

I know every U-Haul and Shipping places sell them, but they are not reasonable at all in prices. Back in Ontario there were a few box/packing wholesales that sell direct to consumers, not sure in Van. I found Cheapbox.ca, but I'm wondering if there are better options.

MG1 07-11-2016 08:44 PM

I used Rubbermain totes for mocing, 'cause they are pretty water tight, easy to open and close and can be used over and over and over again.

But if you want cardboard, check out Tippet Richardson (sometimes they sell boxes for cheap) or this place......

Try Allworld Packaging. They're out on Clark Dr so if you're in Vancouver, it shouldn't be too far. It's also a retail shop so you can go in and take a look if you're unsure of what you want.

EDIT: oops... didn't see MG1's link. :P Sorry for the duplicate link.

GLOW 07-12-2016 09:33 AM

when i was younger i just went to superstore and ask for apple boxes or mcd's and ask for fries boxes before they flatten them :lol

MG1 07-12-2016 10:12 AM

Flattened boxes are useful in that it saves space. All you have to do is tape them back up.

Anytime I need cardboard boxes for whatever reason, I hit up the liquor store at Kingsgate Mall - the little covered parking spots off Broadway and whatever that side street is. The boxes are piled up in the loading bay. Safeway is pretty good, too. Right time of day and right time of the month. Not end or beginning of month.

EDIT: I think OP wants new boxes, probably to avoid any contamination, like bugs, bacteria, zombie virus, etc. ewwwwwwww..........

Okay, I'm glad I went rubbermaid route. Bugs live in cardboard, too - microscopic.
