I need just one of these things. I know there's places I can order online, but shipping just one seems like a waste.

Looks like a weatherhead fitting. I know Lordco carries fittings like that, maybe other parts places too? Could also try Home Depot/Rona.

Can try calling Lordco, but those two places above should carry it.

I know virtually nothing about car parts. Where might I find a stock exhaust for a 1992 Honda Civic (eg6)?

Where would one purchase 3ml or 5ml graduated plastic transfer pipettes in the Vancouver/Burnaby area?

Locally, not so much........

You can try hobby stores, but they are hella expensive.

Schools, if you have a friend who works in the science department.

Most places that sell pipettes are on-line, nothing local.

I purchased about 50 of them for painting my models, but they are not graduated. So cheap on-line.

The thing about science supply houses is you have to order the pipettes in bulk. 500 minimum. Plus, you have to have an account. I'm running out, so if you want to go halfers, I'm game, lol. I do have access to Fischer Scientific and Boreal through friends.

You might have to try a "specialty" candy store. I can't remember the names, but there's one on Robson (and Jervis area) and one on Denman (and Nelson area).

Spaceship_coupe 01-24-2017 11:05 AM

Thanks Overseas Auto and MG1. I don't need a large amount so I'm going to check out the local hobby shops. If it is absurdly expensive I'll have to order online.

StylinRed 01-25-2017 04:40 PM

Probably the wrong thread to put this in lmao

But does anyone know of any home assistance/care services available with chinese speakers?

I'm going to be going abroad for just a few days, and would like to hire someone to help my mom out for a few hours a day, but all ive seem to have found are home care nurses but no chinese speakers

Only need bag if you're vacuuming drywall and fine dust particles. I have dust bag on there already. PM me when you're ready. I'll drop it off or you can come by tomorrow. I have car cleaning attachments. Just clean up everything before returning. I have built-in vac in garage, as well as, two other shop vacs, so no hurry.
