Also, you are doing the cutting, so I don't get yelled at for cutting a little off the mark, LOL.
I have a Milwaukee cordless metal saw, a cordless Sawzall, jigsaw, cordless rotary tool. Your choice. They are all compact. I'll even bring eye protection for you.
Send me PM on Wednesday. I'll be back in town after the total eclipse trip to Portland on Monday and at PNE freebie day on Tuesday. As long as you're not in Richmond, it's all good. I live in North Burnaby. we can meet up at Kensington Square on Hastings Street and Kensington. We (you) can cut the damn thing on back of my truck. MG1/RS tool loaning service.

Thanks for posting about Main/Broadway area, looks like there are a bunch of shops there after googling. Will check out today.

I'm in Oregon right now (ground zero) and I heard from a local here that they have been sold out for days. When I picked up my four pairs at Lowes and Fred Meyers in Bellingham two weeks ago, they had thousands of them. Good thing I did. Try calling lowes in Queensborough. I thought the Eclipse would be a joke if viewed from the GVRD area, but apparently, it is around 80 to 90 percent. I'll be seeing it at like 100 percent............. just trying to rub it in, Gulolol.
Good luck.........

Last eclipse I used welding goggles just fine Quote:
Viewing with Protection -- Experts suggests that one widely available filter for safe solar viewing is welders glass of sufficiently high number. The only ones that are safe for direct viewing of the Sun with your eyes are those of Shade 12 or higher. These are much darker than the filters used for most kinds of welding. If you have an old welder's helmet around the house and are thinking of using it to view the Sun, make sure you know the filter's shade number. If it's less than 12 (and it probably is), don't even think about using it to look at the Sun. Many people find the Sun too bright even in a Shade 12 filter, and some find the Sun too dim in a Shade 14 filter — but Shade 13 filters are uncommon and can be hard to find.

On a side note, I have a feeling there are going to be reports of damaged eyesight on the 21st. Not as much as eyesight damage caused by Integra Girl over the years, Gulolol.

Last eclipse I used welding goggles just fine | Both are sold out everywhere I checked last week. Even replacement welding mask lenses.
Ended up building a solar viewer like this: Solar Eclipse Viewer From Reading Glasses and Cardboard: 10 Steps (with Pictures)
Cost $1.25 for the +1.00 diopter reading glasses at the dollar store. Plus cardboard and duct tape.

Where can I get custom made car pedals? I can't find anything that I like that also has a matching dead pedal. I already contacted Ultimate Pedals in Florida but I would prefer some place locally.

Does anyone know if BestBuy will price match a product that is sold in the states (obviously in converted CAD)? I'm looking to buy a macbook for grad school and BH Photo has them heavily discounted (with the exchange taken into consideration). Otherwise, does anyone know where to get a macbook pro for sale?

You can order from the US and have it shipped to US address for pick up.

The mere mention of her name makes boys scream in pain as their balls start to retreat. I bet the sight of her will bring the toughest of guys down to their knees.
Turn men into stone. Only Berz would be able to shake the effect off.
Her sight will no longer bother me after seeing the total eclipse today. The power of the sun trumps all, Gulolol.

Does anyone know anywhere that sells spark plug terminal nut/cap separately? For a scooter engine that uses an ignition coil/resister cap for it to seat properly. Went to Lordco and CT. No luck. The plugs i bought didn't come with them either.

Where is a good place to buy sand paper?
I need 1000, 2000, and 3000 grit. I went to HD and they only have 1000 and 1500 blocks and Cambodia Tire doesn't even have any. Need it for a car I just bought. Preferably somewhere in Vancouver, Richmond, or Burnaby.

They might give you some.

Lordco has the higher grits with the paint stuff, but it's pricey.

Just roll of vinyl tubes? not the heavy duty but somewhat flexible.
