Just roll of vinyl tubes? not the heavy duty but somewhat flexible.

Think of.. roll of plastic bags at the bulk food section but not cut/sealed

we have those in our business. I think they came from ebay. But, I would check locally at the wholesale office supplies and shipping supply places.

Can someone suggest a shop that does vinyl wrap on cars in Vancouver? 5 years ago I got the vinyl wrap on my roof and its time to change it out. The shop that did it is no longer there and I am trying to find another reputable place that isn't too expensive as its just for my roof.

Thanks in advance!

LF a box for a 60" or larger TV. Should I just start calling up big box, electronic stores?

CCA-Dave 09-12-2017 05:39 PM

Any Uhaul store can sell you a TV box for moving. It includes stuff for protecting tv's 'universally'.

Otherwise, hit a bike shop for a bike box (6-pack) or try electronic stores that do installs.

Anybody know which costco carries the nando's 1L peri-peri sauce? I've checked costco langley and so far no luck.

Get the item number and start calling, that's the easiest way to find anything at costco

Where can I pick up a talk or data SIM card for Macau and China (Zhuhai)? I know it's a lot cheaper to get it there, but my dad is travelling by himself back to Asia, and I would like to get him a phone so he can be in contact with his siblings once he land, and arrange where to meet up.

If he is stopping by HK he can get one at the HK airport. I think is like $250 HK dollar for a 7 day SIM with some mins and unlimited data?

Locally would be hard espeically for China. Maybe ask friends who are from China and borrow their SIM?

Looking for 175/50/13 and 185/60/13 street tires. BC/WA preferably

Looking to invest in a pair of winter boots. Need something that won't slip on ice. Any good suggestions? Need something local so I can try. Most winter boots I see are meant for snow only and very few of them are actually good on ice.

For ice, you're better off throwing on some studded cleats like this over your existing shoes:

Mark's?

When I used to work in a frozen shipping container dealing with frozen food items, pretty sure I got my boots from Mark's. And they did pretty well in all that ice and frozen puddles.

you should also look at Three Vets before they close. Also Bass Pro might have something good for you. Wholesale Sports might have something and they are packing it in

I was looking into that earlier but it might be overkill for just wlaking to and form work on the sidewalks. Not sure if it is legal to use them on sidewalks. I would think is the same as chains on car tires? But what happen last winter I should get a pair of winter boots.

Or look for a pair of shoes that incorporates Vibram Artic Grip soles. You can get hiking shoes, running shoes, etc, with them.

Where do you buy infant (3-6) months Halloween costumes?

Costco was selling them but i swear to fucking god, like all their smallest size, there's only one in each box, so of course, they're all gone.

Anyone know where I can buy a 5' circular table top extender? You know, place it on a smaller table to make it larger?

You would get some plywood and have someone cut it out for you. You could also go to someone making custom cabinets or most carpenters

eclipseman 09-23-2017 11:56 AM

Yeah figured I could have it made, but wondering if there were any nice finished ones available...on short notice lol.

Anyone else?

Thanks for the headsup. I did search CL already...don't need the whole table, just the top.

Ah well, thanks anyways. Looks like I'll just have one custom made for another day.

Cheers
