Anyone know where I can buy a sheet of rubber that's 1mm thick? Need to DIY a gasket.

I wouldn't bother with the garden hose one. I have the chemical guys version of it and it's pretty useless imo. Barely any foam. Used an Amazon foam Cannon for pressure washers and it's waaaay better.

whitev70r 05-29-2021 07:18 PM

Yah, so it looks like you need some sort of pressure washer (high psi) in order to get the real kind of thick foam? There isn't any gadget that can get that effect from a garden hose ... right? Cuz I'm not getting a pressure washer just for this.

I bought a chemical guys foam washer kit, for a pressure washer

But they also make a kit for your garden hose
https://www.chemicalguys.com/torq-sn...r1/EQP323.html
It's clearly not the same as using a pressure washer but doesn't seem bad for just a garden hose

What's the advantage to going full bukkake on your car? Does it actually clean it better than using a mit or something?

I find it hard to believe these touchless systems get all the dirt off.

whitev70r 05-30-2021 10:32 AM

^ I thought the thick jizz 'lifts' and loosens the dirt and grime off your car without a whole lot of caressing it with your mitt.

(this is the thread :>)

Yeah spraying a load on your car helps with the actual wash process. Do it in front of your neighbours and they'll see how well you take care of your piece.

I got a cheap foam cannon (MATCC) from Amazon with a cheap hose at first but just went whole hog and got a MTM kit (https://carzilla.ca/collections/bran...-mtm-kit-1-pro). My hose, gun, and wand cost nearly twice as much as my pressure washer now but I love it. Saves me time over the cheap gear and time is precious for me right now.

Where can I buy some CS-X3 squash air freshener refills for a decent price online or locally?

Every month I buy it from a store at Parker Place but they keeps raising the price. Right now the current price at that store is $12 cash for one. Just wondering if there's a better deal out there. I can buy in bulk if the price is right.

$11.00 is the cheapest on-line, so 12 bucks cash is good. No shipping, taxes, etc.

I stopped getting that stuff and went with Bath and Body Works car fresheners.

https://www.bathandbodyworks.com/c/h.../car-fragrance

they go on sale every now and then.

https://fokstrading.odoo.com/shop/pr...?search=Squash this is the cheapest I've seen and they're a supplier to all those smaller asian shops. I've emailed them before for other inquiries but haven't gotten a reply.

Hopefully, genuine. If legit, score!

I just called them right now and inquired about this. They have it in stock and it’s minimum quantity 100 for the order. And they want $7 for each plus tax because they want to protect their retailers. They would also let me pick it up in person. I was only looking to buy like 20 LOL

It also doesn’t makes sense because I can place an order on the website for less than 100 and at $6.50 each :suspicious:

bcedhk 06-01-2021 11:05 AM

you got fok'd

DJ Milk 06-01-2021 11:08 AM

I didn’t order since I don’t want or need 100 of them :high:

Just organize an RS group buy.

yray 06-01-2021 12:31 PM

Looking for a leather shift boot, anysize... I have to custom cut to size anyways.

Can't believe they don't sell universal ones in cambodian tire/lordco.

I would have but not at the $7 price since I think they're ripping me off because it looks like anybody can order any quantity on their website for $6.50 each :considered:

I thought by calling them I can pick up 50 today and I would unload the rest at cost to the RS members here. I was willing to pick up 100 when he said that's the minimum, but he changed the price even though I mentioned it's listed for $6.50 on their website.
