Vitamix's website? Sometimes they have some extra offers

Where can I find 18/8 thermostat wire? Regular hardware stores like home depot/rona don't offer 8 wires.

have you tried an electronics store like RP Electronics in Burnaby? They should have various smaller gauge wiring.

Any reason if in a pinch you can't run 2 parallel runs of 18/4 if more readily available?

local electrical supply store, such as Gescan, would have it, but it looks per roll 75m ... maybe try calling in?

otherwise Amazon seems to be 50% of for 18/8 t-stat cable at the moment, lots of various shorter lengths

Anyone know a local shop that sells CarPro products? Vancouver, Burnaby or Richmond.

Where can I buy replacement spray can nozzles?

Still have about 50% of a can left, but the nozzle is clogged because I didn't clean it before storing it. Running brake clean + compressed air through didn't clear it, so I started sticking things in it and of course ruined it rather than clearing it.

The plastic nub on top of a spray can? I have about a dozen you can have. They should be clean since the cans were emptied

Their website says they will have a big Vitamix sale starting September 22nd if you don't mind to wait a bit to see what offers they have.

I got mine from The Speed Syndicate in Burnaby (Revscene sponsor). NAPA carries it, but expensive. In Richmond, Overdrive Auto Tuning. Might want to try Overseas Auto (also a RS sponsor), although they haven't posted anything on RS in over a year.

Speedy Glass and other glass shops carry it, but I think they apply the stuff as a service.

I still have one that I purchased from the speed syndicate. Haven't tried it yet. I will do that now, if I can find it. Thanks for reminding me I had it. :lawl:

If it works well, I'll know to pm Euro7r.

Euro7r 09-18-2021 09:52 AM

^If you have used Aquapel, then you know the drill every year haha. Must have for the raincouver weather we get. I see everyone flipping their wipers full on wipe mode and here I am driving without using the wipers or have it on intermittent LOL.

Hondaracer 09-18-2021 11:36 AM

My wiper motor in my truck broke and I drove with only rainx for 2 weeks a few years ago lol

SSM_DC5 09-18-2021 03:23 PM

I put on glassparacy plus carpro reload for 3 month top ups. I like how well it works.

Besides T&T, are there any asian fresh fish markets around Burquitlam or Burnaby (Capitol Hill area)? Cousin from HK recently moved to Capitol Hill in Burnaby and wants to find a place to buy fresh fish.

SunChips - original flavor

The original ones that come in the bag of Munchies. All I ever see are the cheddar and french onion. I've checked while shopping at Walmart, London Drugs, Safeway, Save on foods, Shoppers, Costco, etc. etc. Can't seem to find them anywhere.

Anyone ever noticed them around in any stores?

Euro7r 11-01-2021 03:26 PM

Pro Form PF560

I see Amazon selling this cheapest $23 shipped. Wondering if anyone knows locally if there are any around.

Not exactly buying a physical good but rather a service.

Parents' lot need a hwy access engineering drawing done. Nothing fancy... really the existing entrance would have suffice, but Ministry of Transportation doesn't seem to like that idea. This is in interior BC near Revelstoke

Called many of the larger civil/road engineering firms and they are all quite booked through until later half of 2022. I thought I'd ask here to see if any RSer have any connections or are in the field can hook me up with the right person to have this done ASAP.

I work in the industry and none of the larger guys are going to touch this - "later half of 2022" is industry speak for this isn't worth our time. Plus with the recent events they're going to be scrambling to win MoTI work.

You best reach out to the smaller one-man type outfits and just go shopping.

Any lead to smaller firm? I don't mind that it's smaller since it is a small project to begin with. It's just the list of companies that MOTI sent me are all larger firms and as you said, it's probably not worth their time.
