I will go back to the dealer to get the rubber inserts which are relatively inexpensive and not as wasteful.
They normally last 1-2 years for me and for $10.00 it's worth it in my eyes. Yes they are not the best but for the quality compared to the price its no brainer for me.

When the Costco bladds are on sale you can get 3-4 pairs for the price of the more “premium” ones at Canadian tire so it’s kinda like take your pick I guess

iirc wiper blades are only "rated" to last 6 months anyways. I stick to the Costco ones and just replace them more often.

It's a 2005 Honda Pilot so I'm gonna go with the Costco route.

I've always stuck with OEM wiper blades they seem to work the best and last the longest. I've tried the other ones people rave about and they always chatter bad at some point. Meanwhile my last set of OEMs have never done that in 2+ years they still work good enough that I haven't thought about changing them.

Definitely remember on my last car a 2010 model the OEM blades lasted like 5 or 6 years, after that I just swapped to Michelins from Costco but every set would last 6 months to 1 year maybe. Yea blades aren't expensive if you get Michelins or something and they're easy to switch but I just rather not have to deal with it every 6 months.

Yeah, I can't believe I threw my old OEM wipers away. You can buy the OEM inserts separately from the dealer.

Need some one way privacy window film. Does anyone know where to source them/hook me up for a good price? Doesn't have to be local really. I'm not that much in a hurry.

I have 20 windows that are 45cm wide and 2 meters tall. I think it's best to buy a roll instead of buying 20 of short ones on Amazon

Good place for custom orthopedic insoles that don't cost a leg and arm?

So my nephew visiting us for CNY has always worn custom insoles due to a slight flat feet. He lost his shoes on a recent trip to the pool and we were at a podiatric office today and they were asking 700CAD to have a pair made.

He usually get his in Taiwan for a fraction of that and it actually make more sense to just buy a pair in Taiwan and Fedex over here.

But before we do that, any recommendations for local places?

^ yup 700$ is the going rate for customs.....

Instead of getting customs, find one that increases the arch at marks work warehouse for 30$ instead.

I had knee pain come in a few years ago, could not figure out what it was for the life of me, fast forward a year i was told i have flat feet. Got customs, it went away.

Forgot to take out the insoles when i threw my shoes out a year later lol

Went to marks, got generic "arch" insoles, good to go. I use em in all my shoes now. Beats paying 700$ for customs + 3-400$ for every 2nd set (work only covers them every 5 years)

check your benefits, you do need doctors note, then you can leverage and ask for referral to unlock your insole benefits.

I think the issue is his nephew is from out-of-country, so benefits may not be eligible, and based on what he's shared, it looks like they will be out of pocket for the expenses.

Try Kintec

The problem is the fancier they get/the smaller they are in terms of a full foot one or just an arch support, they get more expensive very quickly
