2002 Accord V6 Stereo reset

Hey guys,

Today when i was starting up my car, the battery died on me.
I popped the hood, unplugged+plugged the battery, and it worked.
..However my (stock) stereo doesn't work, and requires a code.
I asked my friend and he says if i look in the owners manual it should have a 4-5 digit code written on a card or something to input, to unlock it.
I bought the car second hand from a dealer, and i dont think they included that in the owners manual package (you know.. the little folder with their business card and another manual that you put in the glove compartment)

So.. my question(s) to you is, is there a way i can get the code?
Or is the code not written on a card, just in the manual itself?
Or is there a default code for all 6th gen accords that works?

Please and thank you guys in advance

-Johnny

its a 5 digit code.. but its uasually glued on a white piece of paper inside the glove box.. check over there? and if you entered the code wrong too many times...it becomes locked.. if that happens you just diconnect the battery and connect it again...

my friend bumped into the same problem when we were installin his HIDs

there's like... a hundred of these threads already lol. check for any stickers on the inside of the glove box with the code on it. also check the sides of the glove box. if not, you may have to bring it back to the dealership for unlocking. some are nice and will give you the code over the phone, others will try to charge you $100+.
