- its 41 psi to make that power
- They are using Toyo R888's for tires
- The car redlines at 8100 rpms now... the other ones are at around 9000 rpms
- It drives like stock and with 93 octane is making 1100 hp
- They built a custom intake for the car... The stock intake cant handle 41 psi...

It should be able to pull off about 260 if all goes well.
Top 5 currect Texas Mile Record holders:
1. Lamborghini Gallardo - 250.1 mph
2. Ford GT - 249.7 mph
3. Toyota Supra - 247.7 mph
4. Porsche 911 Turbo - 235.4 mph
5. Toyota Supra - 230.6 mph
I think the Ford GT is gonna be the fastest... That Ford GT did 249 mph after missing a gear... From what I've heard they did over 260 mph in Miami.. The biggest problem with the Lambo is the aerodynamics.. I bet they need to make 400+ more HP then the GT just to make up for the aerodynamic disadvantage..

If you read what you posted they say that the Ford GT guys had actually done over 260 mph according to their gps..
But here is something I didnt know... The Texas Mile isnt the speed they were going at the end of the mile... Its an average speed they are hitting over the entire course. You gotta wonder how fast those cars were actually going cuz the Ford GT and the GTT are all still accelerating at the end.
Richard the owner flipped the car at 230mph I believe they had to cut him out of the car. This means the car is totaled, Glad he made it out alive tho. SW's black supra did a 239 on his first shake down run but couldn't deploy his parachute and ended up going off the end at 130+mph. Last I've heard he was ok and Boostlogic is trying to get car ready for tomorrow.
