Lawn tractor fuel cap chewed on and nested. Last year my VW turbo diesel ingested what was left of the air filter element and mouse nest material, travel trailer air conditioner was infested. Honda Ascot they nested under the seat and ate the wires, also packed the muffler full causing it to rust out. All of my snowmobiles smell like mouse crap when you open the hood or storage compartments. They chewed the sound insulation material from under the hood of my wife's car and stuffed that into the air box of my previous truck. My BMW has a plastic grill over the air intake above the front wheel, that didn't stop them from chewing the plastic and rubber away to nest in the air box, wire mesh stopped that happening again, now they just nest on top of the engine block. One day I rode to work and when I parked my bike, little mice were dropping out on the pavement, not sure how many fell out on the highway. Stored my Montesa 360 with it's piston at TDC one year, cute little thing travelled the entire length of the expansion chamber and packed the crankcase full of sticks and crap. My Trials bikes fair much better, nowhere to nest that I don't plug, but they do sample the plastic. I could go on but it's too depressing.
