One of my moms good friends had an SLK and was dissatisfied with it. Said that it had no power for how much money she was putting in for gas all the time.
Ended up getting an SL63. I've never driven one myself so I couldn't tell you how fast it is or how it handles, what this lady said might be different for everybody cause she ended up settling for an SL63.
its a shortened and chopped top c class basically. No car is made for different sex just buy what you WANT. I like the slk but id rather get a EOS, more fun and seats 4 comfortably AND better on gas
I have always been a fan of these cars and don't consider them girly at all. I've never driven one so can't tell you much, but a coworker of mine owned one, loved it and picked up a 2nd one when his lease expired. If I had to complain about something, I'd say the interior design, fit and finish has always been lacking. Lots of unimpressive plastic.

they ain't built for different sex, but some cars were certainly marketed /targetted towards certain sex.
anyways sexism aside. slk doesn't perform as fast as it looks
Well, what would you guys suggest then around the same price or less than the slk? Was thinking of C class, but its probably too similar to the 3 series and I'd prefer a coupe

My dad's got one and it's great car if your looking for a sports car that's also a luxury car. The powered hard top can't be beat and the neck scarf heating features means you can have the top down at any temperature while wearing a T-shirt. There are cars that are faster or handle better but I don't think any of them blends sports and luxury better.
