does anyone has way to figure out if the sunroof is factory installed or was later on installed by 3rd party? i know some 3rd party installation has problem, i rather not have a 3rd party installed sunroof since there might be leaking problem |
US Import = the car was originally owned by someone/bought in the states... not made there LOL that's not really a warning sign if it's a domestic.
The sunroof button usually is a dead giveaway, factory cars tend to have mismatched or out of place switches. You could just google image that car's interior/exterior beforehand see if it is one. If it's a mercedes, a 3rd party sunroof is probably more reliable than the factory ones...
Brake pads aren't that expensive but easy thing to do is check the pad thickness/listen, and the colour of the brake fluid is easy to see from under the hood. If you take it for a test drive check if there is any weird wobble in the steering wheel, may be warped rotors.
Check if windows go all the way up and down and if the AC blows cold
For some things it's best to hire someone to inspect the car, it's not expensive under $100 and could save you a lot of money in the long run
