Patchy freezing rain is also possible over the inland valleys late Thursday when the transition from snow to rain occurs. Total snowfall accumulations will generally be between 5 and 10 centimetres. Inland regions will receive closer to 15 cm total snowfall.

I wouldn't recommend it but it's your own discretion. I passed a lowered WRX hatch this morning that was on all-seasons and he didn't look like he was having too much fun. AWD + wrong tires in the snow = spinning all four wheels going nowhere.

Winter "performance" tires are useless...my Yokohama AVS Winter V901 are no better than my all-season tires...
My wife's General Altimax Arctics should arrive this weekend hopefully...
