U got to remember with reviews of any sort, u got to take it with a grain of salt. For example, if the person that wrote the review was driving on all seasons all along and this set of winter is their first set, ofcourse they're gonna give it excellent reviews.

Aint nothing wrong with winter performance tires, you just trade a little deep snow and ice capability for better dry handling. Really works out to what you need

I agree, in dry and even wet conditions, it handles pretty well in cold temps. But in snow and slush, it is no better than my all seasons.

It's drivable with All seasons but I don't recommend it. Most of the main roads are drivable. I recommend everyone changing to snow tires even though I'm still on my Yokohama Envigors. Will swap soon but just tested them out with light and deep snow, they felt great!.

All seasons are cool on main roads if your careful, but I expect a Lotus would come stock performance summer tires, not all seasons.

Does anyone know?

Did fine on the roads today. Only spun once when I floored it on the highway. Blasted by some trucks stuck on the steep neighbourhood hills

Has anyone tried buying/installing tires in the states and not claiming it at the border?

+1. Its only 12% HST plus I think a dinners worth of levies. Its never worth the risk to have a flag on your name every time you travel here on out.

On a related note. Put the winters back on tonight (Goodyear Nordics), night and day difference from the Summers. Get your winters on everyone!

If you perform non-emergency repairs or upgrades to any vehicle in the states, when you pass back through the border your vehicle will be taxed at its total value, not just the repair value. I believe you also are required to submit to the entire vehicle importation process.

Will you get caught, maybe not, but if you do those will be the most expensive tires you ever bought. My uncle took the gamble a few years back, he was caught and I guarantee he regrets it.
