We may be less than a month into winter but honestly, who the hell predicts this "coldest winter" gibberish? Fall was a lot colder than it is now.

My winter tires are feeling the pain.

I'm gonna probably wait it out till feb den ima put my low tread all seasons back on fuckit. I was so excited to try my michellin x ice on snow too. Got a pretty good deal on them in the states. 770 after taxes at discount tire.

With global warming and all that nowadays, i wouldnt be surprised if "winter" didnt hit till March/April.

Finally putting winter tires on my wife's subaru, and only b/c we're going to Whistler on the weekend!

I think you'll get away with a good set of all season tires. Nothing worrying up there, my FWD 1.6EL had no problems getting there and back. Was up there just this past Saturday.

hmmm.. pretty cold lately...and a possible dumping of 5-10cm during this upcoming sunday... and the TL stock michelin all seasons are garbage!

I wouldn't do summers during this time around, night time has been pretty cold.

That means the compound on your summers will be hard as a puck.

Just watched 4 cars get stuck trying to go up a hill, one of them 4x4. Just drove by them with my cheap studded tires.

dumbass people out there, just because you have winter tires does not mean you are invincible in the wet and icey conditions. The tires just give you an extra hand for situations, does not mean you can speed.
