hotel booking question

k my buddy and I are bringing our girls to harrison hot spring.

We are booking 1 room with 2 beds.

But, I discovered that as Im selecting how many adults, 4 adults is more expensive than 2 adults by $50 bucks.

There ain't no bigger beds or anything. All amenities are the same.

Is this any concern? I know people have saved money by having like 10 people sleeping in one room. I would highly doubt they selected 10 people for adults and adding like $100 or more on top of it.

However I wouldn't want any trouble coming from the hotel.

Do we just check in with 2 people and have the other 2 person come after?

anyone?

Most hotels charge $25ish per extra adult you have in your room per night. The chances of them finding out you have extra people there?

Fairly slim but it could be a potential issue if they do find out some how.

i work at a hotel and to tell you the truth its rare we check for how many ppl are staying in the room. Upon check in they will give you 2 keys so just get it take it outside and give the other key to your buddy and go up separately. When you guys leave just do the same thing and you should be fine!

I agree....the extra charge is only for laundry services because you might be requesting to have additional towels etc. Although, most hotels do not check. It kind of sucks, because the honest ones will be penalized for for it.

If they question you the next morning say you came with your gf, but you ran into a couple of swingers in town and decided to take the party back to your room

yea, I used to report everyone in the room as well, the first couple times when I booked.

now that I learned, the check in staff usually don't give a shit anyways when you have pre-paid on the internet. Mind you, I have been using 3* to 4* hotels in Seattle and Portland (about 10 hotels that I have experienced). I can't speak for 5*...

Keep in mind, Harrison Hot Springs hotel rooms are small, and usually only have 1 bed. That's for the nice one with the in hotel hot spring feature, I forgot what the name is. You won't be able to use priceline because that's the ONLY hotel that's good.

I work in a hotel. It's the housekeepers you have to watch out for. If they notice a large amount of towels being used when they clean your room, or extra pillows, sleeping bags, that kind of stuff, they will report or confront you...
