I went up to cypress this morning. the visibility sucked balls today, the farthest you can see is the chair right in front of yours. the snow was also shitty. it'd just stop my board from moving since it was so wet and heavy from the rain

Death2Theft 04-01-2011 05:50 PM

Cypress was great today the fog kept people from coming up, but once u got up here it wasn't so bad. So much powder everywhere!

tegz 04-01-2011 06:51 PM

Goin seymour tmr!

sonick 04-02-2011 04:05 PM

Cypress awesome again. Was a bit cloudy and icy in the morning but got way better as the day warmed up.

^Seymour was the opposite

Started off great for the first 5 hours and at 8 (my last hour) it started getting icy and cold :(

celica-g5 04-03-2011 12:54 AM

Argh.... Might be out for the rest of the season. Bought a freestyle board to try my luck in the park. The day was fine till the last run in the terrain park. I eff'd up on a jump and sprained my ankle.... :(

That sucks dude! Just remember I.C.E. Ice, compression, elevation. And stretch it when it feels better. I've been nursing a sprain for the last 3 years now and it hasn't healed properly. But the seasons not over yet! Still have whistler and the blackcomb glacier to have fun with!

Yeah, I'm just praying that I can heal within the next couple of weeks. I went to a medical clinic first thing in the morning yesterday, and the doctor told me that the swelling looked bad. She said that I most likely fractured it and needed to go the hospital asap to get x-rays done. Thank god it wasn't after I got the results. Man, I was scared shitless when she said that..

Death2Theft 04-04-2011 01:19 PM

God damn cypress got 42cm overnight hahaha.

Vulcan300 04-06-2011 04:30 PM

the mountain (cypress) was EPIC today!
so much pow, sun was out, no lines.
what more can you ask for

twitchyzero 04-06-2011 06:50 PM

i'm just reading the whistler edge card cancellation policy and it's a little confusing
can i just pay $25 to have my credit transfer over to next season or does it have to be with one of the special circumstances (wrist strain, moved away for work etc)

RayBot 04-08-2011 11:03 AM

Anyone interested in hitting any of the local mountains on Monday ????

Death2Theft 04-08-2011 07:29 PM

Damn made it down topgun alive pretty happy with myself since i just started snowsports this year. The sun was melting the snow to a nice corn mush perrrfect! Now my goal will be to make it down without sitting down. :P

Anyone still boarding right now? I went up to Cypress today and it was cooking up there! I had to actually take off my jacket!

sonick 04-24-2011 12:23 AM

Went Friday. Was cold under the clouds but warm when the sun came out. Should've gone today instead, not a cloud in the sky.

I was just at Grouse on Saturday. So much fun even though it was only the screaming eagle lift that was open. Girls wearing less clothing is a plus :P

It was a tad wet....which is fine for me because I am still a rookie and wet snow is pretty soft to land on.
