Which mountain is the best in your opinions between the three mountains cypress, seymour and grouse? I was meaning to ask this awhile back but got lazy. The reason I ask is because I was thinking of buying a pass. Right now I'm not too sure yet because I'm already going on a 1 week trip to hemlock valley (cant wait).

Personally, i think Cypress is the best of the three.
^Damn Kamloops always getting their snow extra earlyyyyy
Planned a trip to Big White with my friends in December
we didn't get any yet 17 more days til opening day and "Mid-Mountain Snow Depth 20.1 cm / 7.9 in"
fucking bullshit! lol
Last year we opened two weeks early because they got 60 cm of snow in one week
actually this is our report
Quote:
Alpine Snow Depth
Updated at 5:30AM on November 9
Located at the top of Crystal Chair (2061m / 6762') 0.0 cm / 0.0 in
Mid Mountain Snow Depth
Updated at 8:50AM on November 9
Located at the top of the Sunburst Express (1855m / 6086') 20.1 cm / 7.9 in
crystal is the higher of the two. Sunburst is the bubble chair at the bottom that you take if you want to get to the crystal chair. I assume it's snow making

Higher elevations don't always equate to more snow or more snow fall. Its also the weather and the system that moves around it that gives the detail of where and when the snow falls Posted via RS Mobile

Personal report from the locals, seymour and cypress are getting snowed on at this very moment.
Rule of thumb, its a rough 5 degree difference between sea level and the local hills, so if its 5-8 degrees in the city, its most likely snowing on the hills. That is if its not during an inversion. Then its all messed up Posted via RS Mobile

Cypress > Grouse > Seymour.

only if you are a social weekend warrior kind of rider.
seymour owns cypress for variable terrain [natural rolling terrain]. However, if you're impatient and don't like to hike and lazy [like me] then cypress is the place for longer runs, faster chairs, and people not wanting to take lessons.
I like the bindings, not so much the cases... Fuck Sun Peaks opens next weekend and their base is like 25cm... My best girlfriends brother died 3 weeks ago so we're going up there tonight as the locals are burning his skis tonight as a sacrifice to Ullr tonight, so let's bring on the snow
