ya, there were almost no boards for sale, that was the big thing that kept me hyped for it. standing in line and only see people leaving with purchased clothing or nothing at all got me a little skeptical. when they let me through, there wasn't much of a selection left. |

I never need any hardgoods, I'm always a fan of that search for the right soft goods. Its been a while since I've excersized my options for clothes since clothes are clothes and I am a huge purveyor of non-trendy stuff. In any case, the accessories there would make for good xmas gifts so why not? As an aside, the weather is going to be hella promising this weekend. Its a shame that I won't be able to partake, we JUST got our puppy and its going to be quite the handful till he's house broken Posted via RS Mobile |
Does anywhere sell cheap/discounted Cypress tickets? ie. 7/11 etc. |
Which weekdays are the slowest on the mountains? My boss wants me to use up the rest of my vacation days, gonna use it to go boarding. |
Friend went up @ 9am this past Tuesday. He said it was COMPLETELY EMPTY. For a long ass time. Fresh pow. For Cypress. |

You're only bet is to buy the gold card, its the new name for the ski card that gives you one free ticket and discounts everyother time you go play. As for the slowest days? Tuesdays through thursdays. Before noon. Fridays and mondays are for those playing hookie fromn work, which I might do tomorrow. But its going to be a shit show after xmas when people get their new gear and the mountains open up for night riding, while it won't be as bad as weekends you're still goping to wait to play Posted via RS Mobile |
is that the same as the card I bought through Bell last year? Sounds like it but just with a name change. Quote:

I'm not entirely sure? If it says "gold card" on yours then its current for this year. Otherwise its something like 70 bucks and gives you discounted (55 bucks or so) tickets on the hill. Check out the cypress website for further details. Posted via RS Mobile |
yes its the same card, they just renamed the ski card to gold card. i got to cypress around 11 yesterday. was practically empty. was disappointed the pow turned to hard packed snow so fast |
anyone looking for a "rated GOOD WOOD from transworld" 151 snowboard? :D http://www.revscene.net/forums/fs-om...g-t631521.html |
Hit up Cypress today, snow was great, weather was amazing, but it was busy as fuck, as expected. |
Well, it's a good thing i didn't ride at all the last week. other than our new puppy, the weather has been utter disgusting. If there is new snow, it's really like riding on mashed potato's I may go up just to play around this weekend, since the gf is doing her patrol training up seymour |
I'm having withdrawl symptoms. |
Haven't gone up yet thinking of picking up rome libertine boots heard there pretty good And binding wise 390 or cartel hmm wat do u guys think Posted via RS Mobile |
^^^ I'm planning on getting the 390 Boss's this year, wanna try out the canted footbed inserts so I'd suggest those as I'm already sold on them :P |
Lmao which means I'll have a rome setup kinda make sme feel like a tool ahah jk But I hear good things about romes gear so who knows, Any other input on cartels vs 390s if not I'll save money and keep my customs and jst get rome boots Posted via RS Mobile |
What's wrong with Rome? I dunno shit about brands, but I got Rome boots and they are awesome. Took me forever to find one that doesn't make my heel slip, but the Rome's fit nice. |
Nothing wrong wit them I love my rome board I just like mix and matching brands but if everything from rome is solid then I guess I'll go for it Posted via RS Mobile |
Went up to grouse today. Went for a box jump and failed and went shin first onto the edge of the box http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._4848802_n.jpg |

Went for a box jump and failed and went shin first onto the edge of the box http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._4848802_n.jpg[/QUOTE Ouch bro! I haven't done much I the way of cuts from rails or boxes, but I sure have taken my fair share of lumps from them. Polysporin and lots and lots of bandage changes, believe me or not, but if you have a sister or still live with your momma go use panty liners, shits designed to absorb blood and it will make your bandage removal so much easier. Laugh and giggle all you want, but that stuff is the shit Posted via RS Mobile |

The tip caught the edge of the box and I face planted |
Since we are talking about injuries. On Friday I shoulder checked a rock because of an unmarked ditch with hardly any snow was on the side of the run. I'll probably be out of commission for atleast a week if not longer. This shit hurts. Posted via RS Mobile |
