| Favourite Soap for Car Wash?
Yep, with the end of November / December coming along with the huge snow shitstorm that's supposedly going to hit this year I've decided to wash my S14 one last time before it gets garaged once it snows.
The very first time I washed a car was with dishsoap.. then I realized the bad mistake a made, shameful yes =_= and with my current random carsoap bottle empty decided to get some opinion on what fellow RS members use to get their cars squeeky cleann
Heard of some nice soap/wax all in one and thats about it
Any input / recommendations would be nice. Decent price would be awesome too
Thanks in advanced

I got the simple green from crappy tire, must've been on sale or something, don't really think much about car wash. Also have the turtle wax zip wax, I think my mom got it from costco or somewhere, haven't opened it yet.
Is the sundance one the one the dealerships use? I think it might be the cheapest one at CT.
Also used to use the big purple meguiars bottle, supposed to be fun, smelled nice and a lot of foam though... haha fun...

Megs gold class was a good choice back when it was $14 at ctire. You could get it for 25/35/50% off. I totally splurged the one time it was 50% off. For some reason they decided to up the price to $20 which made no sense... don't think even lordco charges that much.
From autowerkes, I like poorboys ssns, duragloss 901, optimum car wash, chemical guys citrus gloss and clear.
If you do wax your car from time to time with sealants I would not recommend picking up wash and wax with carnauba.

Are all those car wash soaps the ones without detergents thy eat away the wax? Was wondering because I'm afraid of the "detergents" destroying my days work of detailing Posted via RS Mobile |

I usually go with Meguiars, it's moderately priced. As an added bonus it smells good.

I used Meg's Gold Class for Over the Counter.
Optimum No Rinse for waterless wash in the garage during winter.
