Diagnos Broken E72

so i dropped my E72 the other day and my Screen doesn't work it's just black

everything else works the heart beat/pulse making/receiving calls hooking it up thru Ovi Suite/ Pc Suite

its just the screen that's blank

the screen itself isn't cracked/visibly damaged

but do you think it's safe to assume its merely the screen that's damaged?

I'm wanting to buy a replacement screen and just DIY it but i don't want to waste my time in case it's something else (i just figure it would be faster that way instead of sending it in)

u guys know how much JP Cellular would charge for diagnosing/fixing it?
