I drove one of my kids to work at 5:30 am. Didn't see a bit of snow and by the looks of it, no snow at all for a while.

Yup, saw a 3 series rushing to make the left turn signal on Boundary onto Lougheed/Broadway, he ended up losing control and sliding into the curb, onto the sidewalk

Some douche in a black 3-series this morning was tailgating me and almost took it into the curb on black ice while I was taking a left turn this morning. Serves him right, ass.

Dem BFG All-terrains had me miss like 4 rear Enders this morning of clowns driving like 20km down steep hills.

People need to fucking think about the vehicles around them not just themselves. There's no reason to be jamming up traffic and endangering others when there's no one ahead of you

I'd rather someone jam up traffic than to be flying on the road.

Braking in the middle of a hill which is a sheet of ice with people behind you and absolutely no hazards in front is far more dangerous to yourself and others than simply letting the car move on it's own at a reasonable speed.

because that reasonable speed will turn into 60-80kph by the bottom of the hill...who's the say there won't be ice there?

just keep your distance if you know it's icy out...shouldn't take you 3 times to figure this out

Lol oh little but hurt ch28..

The 89 corolla with bald all-seasons braking on ice is going to end up in the ditch far before I do. If you think braking on ice on a downhill slope is good driving practice then you'll probably end up in the ditch like the other clowns I passed today.

Don't know wtf I'm doing! Yet I've always had winters and always made it to work and always made it safely to the interior in the winter and never had an accident! Shit son!

They have the pretty snowflake symbol on them, they are great in snow but useless on ice.

Commuters that drive slower on icy weather >>>>> someone that doesn't.

Why is that so hard for you to comprehend?

Having their car go downhill at a "reasonable speed" means that it'll eventually pick up speed from the momentum. It means theyre absolutely fucked if there is any ice on the bottom of the hill. No amount of tread or super tire will stop you at that point.
