There was a shit ton of snow in Bellingham this evening. From 5pm onwards, it was snowing heavily. Probably about an inch or so had accumulated before we left. But, it was also stupidly windy, so most was blown off the vehicles.

Raining now in Downtown, so roof will be closed for the hockey game. What outdoor game? Yup, it's a classic..............Vancouver weather, that is.
I hope those people who paid with their hard earned money get their money's worth. It'll be louder, I guess. Touted to be once in a life time event. An 8.9 earthquake in Vancouver, is what I call a once in a life time event. Nuff said........... go, canucks, go.

Yeah, snow was pretty bad in the Bellingham area yesterday. Coming back from a day trip at 202, there was a small stretch of I5 where everyone was driving at 50 Km/h. Did see a few cars in the ditch on that stetch. Good think I was rocking my studded snowies.

I had to catch a flight to Vegas last Sunday so I left for Bellingham at 4am. Was okay up until I flashed the passport to the border guard. The moment I hit the i5, shit got real.
Full on blizzard, road not cleaned. I must have been doing 30km/hr lol Posted via RS Mobile |

Posted via RS Mobile | Alas, it is their money to spend how they please. I just don't see the justification. We drive the crew truck on actual ICE roads with all seasons and don't have any problems. Studded snowies are pretty pointless out here when we don't get any ice on the ground. Snow tires, sure, pretty smart investment if you're doing trips to the mountian and interior but in my humble opinion I think studded snowies are a complete waste of time and money out here. Plus, they wreck the roads over time.

Studded tires are great for Aircare.
