It's actually snowing harder DT than South Burnaby

There were no cars on the street, and the skytrain was not busy. Lots of people took the day off I think. I hope I don't regret not driving because translink was saying skytrains are operating normally, but I waited a long time for my train to come.

I'm still in bed......... I'll be driving around in a while. Last few days the parking lot at the casino has been empty. Never seen the place so abandoned.

I'll keep you fellow Burnaby residents posted.

In North Van Lynn Valley, 7:45 the road was still black, but started snowing, I think about 8:30 it started to stick. Coming down steady now, still not plowed. Probably about an inch of fresh snow

i'm at surrey SFU. it was still snowing moderately a half hour ago when i was near a window.

they were talking to a canadian tire manager on the radio who said "this is vancouver. no one has salt or a snow shovel" and they are all sold out. at one location they had a dump truck come in and dump a load of road salt right in the parking lot and staffers were out there bagging it all up with customers were lining up for over an hour to buy... but i missed hearing which location though sorry.

No more snow falling in Surrey, at least in the Guilford area.

Time to find some road salt, my bag from last year is running low.
