Has anyone seen salt in stock at any stores in Vancouver?

I've always wondered - the Alex Fraser Bridge has been around for 30 years -is it just me or has it only been the last 2 years that we've seen closures from these "ice bombs"? (or is it just the proliferation of social media and the Internet that we actually hear about these things?) I figured this would be a problem every time there is a snowfall...

had a bit of trouble getting my car out for work this afternoon. random pedestrian walking by came over to push me out without me asking.

Then an older gentlemen in a X3 pulled over to help push me out too.

I appreciate the strangers/RS members that help get others cars out of the snow, thank you

Took the family 4runner today to friends place in Maple Ridge, return back home only to see all streets in Richmond except our side streets have been plowed. :\ Getting to work should be interesting tomorrow...

Good thing I'm sleeping on a mat at Women's hospital for the night.
