Might be a bit late, but for those living in Vancouver, the city is only collecting the black garbage bin this week, not the green one. |
yep you get notifications like that if you d/l their VanCollect app. Same goes for the MMBC app for smithrite's recycle pickup. |

people's laziness when it comes to clearing their cars is mind-boggling i've seen a few the last few days...i hate the ones where they clear off the windows and hood but there's a foot of snow that's spewing out to everyone behind em from their roof They deserve every cent of that $368 fine...i hope there's points too. I'm in a hurry my ass. Takes less than 5 minutes to clear that shit off. |

Get ready for snow followed by heavy rain. Tomorrow's commute is gonna be crazy with all that ice. FeelsBadMan Winter Storm Warning Active for next 13 hours · Environment Canada Posted 3 hours ago Hazardous winter conditions are expected. Light snow has developed over Northwest Washington and is spreading northeast. Snow will develop over much of Southwest BC this afternoon and intensify with the heaviest amounts expected into the evening. As the warm air establishes itself, there will be a good chance of freezing rain followed by significant rainfall overnight and into Thursday. The transition to rain is expected earliest along the immediate coast. Further inland, snow will persist longer and the risk of freezing rain will increase. As a result, snowfall amounts will vary considerably across the region, from 5 to 15 cm near the coast to 20 cm or more inland. ### Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to ec.tempetepacifique-pacificstorm.ec@canada.ca or tweet reports to #BCStorm. |
