first check if flight is still on/not severely delayed

i would not rely on skytrain in the snow to catch a flight even if I bet many will take a sick day/wfh tomorrow

schedule a taxi and leave a bit earlier

I live in Coq.... taxi fees alone is like $100 on a normal day...... with snow day most like it will be $150 or more....

1. sleep at airport like a stranded passenger (i presume before a long haul flight)
2. roll the dice and take the skytrain, might be fine, or you might lose hundreds/thousands to book next flight
3. pay a premium for taxi, when you know traffic has been pretty smooth all week and you have only arthur lang to cross

If you have snow tires would you still slap it on just for this week?

Probably to the end of February at least based on the NOAA forecast.

https://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/produc...10temp.new.gif

Hard to see but we’re in the 40-45°F range (4-7°C daytime highs) into next week still and 3-6°C daytime highs this week (per Environment Canada), below freezing every night.

Snow is likely to melt during the day and freeze overnight as a result, so while it doesn’t look like we’ll get anymore significant snow accumulations, there is some minor precipitation expected this week and still black ice potential next week.

Bouncing Bettys 02-19-2019 01:37 PM

alternating between rain, snow, and a mix of both and now snow. Seems on the verge of sticking.

HonestTea 02-19-2019 01:45 PM

Looks like wet snow and not sticking in Richmond.

Took me an hour and half to get from Bridgeport, Richmond to King George x 104th, Surrey. Left at 3:50, got there at 5:20 ._.

People were slipping up and sliding down 104th by Tannery Rd.
