5 years ago i would've honk the shit outta her the moment she exits the parking lot, may even have my head out the window screaming at her. now a days i just clip the video and post it online so everyone can laugh, its not worth the stress, i have tonned down my road rage by a lot.

just off to the left of the camera's view, because she took 2 lanes to turn and at such a slow pace, cars were stopping and lining up waiting for her, which eventually everyone drove around, she was literally an obstacle on the road.

I wonder if it will snow in Richmond/Vancouver - I was looking at historical data and it has never had any accumulation of snow this early in November.

I don't even put my snow tires on until mid-November every year!

I generally just look at the weather forecast.

Once I see a week with an average of 7 degrees or less, it's the weekend before that I put on my tires.

I put on my tires just yesterday because of this week's forecast.

True. After spending a few years on the East Coast, the worst day in YVR is like.... a day in YYZ.

I think the main difference is how unprepared us Westcoasters are with snowing.

Learning how to drive properly in the snow is a skill many Westcoasters lack.

What Hehe said. It's not really how bad it gets, but rather how unprepared and how stupid the typical Vancouverite is when it comes to snow.

Ya it doesn’t snow much here so we don’t get the practice people from Alberta do..

Plus its mountainous here compared to Alberta.

I was born in Alberta and wouldn’t make such a dumb comparison between driver skill. Aside from the snow itself we’re comparing apples and oranges here

You can always go back to Calgary............ don't you miss it? I would.

I'm with CRS. 7 degrees or lower is when I look into changing over to winters.

After living in Edmonton for a few years... they do not know how to drive in the snow despite it snowing heavily every year. When the first snowfall hits, there are always 500+ accidents on day 1. You would think they would learn year after year but nope.

This actually surprises me. I learned how to drive safely with snow and also what's the do's/don'ts in snowy condition from my landlord in ON when I first got there. Everything from how braking, accelerating and maneuvering differ normally vs. in snow... 15min with snow in an empty parking lot packed with powder was all it took.

So I assume anyone in snowy areas just know them because everyone knew them.

Oh yeah Albertans are great winter drivers. Every time I drive Hwy 16 in the winter the ditches are littered with cars.

Snow driving shouldn't be harder per se, just different set of physics people need to understand. Can't be driving the same way like it's dry or wet. But having proper winter tires are a huge factor.

I was planning to put my winter tires on the weekend, but I forgot I have a day off today... so maybe I'll do it today.
