VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Those poor little snowdrops and crocuses. There's a serious cold snap in the forecast, with the mercury possibly slipping as low as -10 degrees.
A cool, unsettled weather pattern will re-develop for the first half of this week. Showers will be mixed with flurries at times, over higher elevations and for inland areas today.
News1130's Meteorologist Russ Lacate expects snow flurries to be sticking along the inland routes through the Fraser Valley tonight and Tuesday.
By Wednesday, the air mass gets colder and the freezing level drops to sea level. Snow flurries are in the forecast for all elevations around the Lower Mainland.
Beginning Thursday, the arctic air rushes out through the mountain passes and mainland inlets. It will turn sunnier later Thursday and Friday with a near-record cold snap. Overnight temperatures near -10 degrees and wind chills will make it feel like -20 degrees.
lets see if we're getting trolled again lol
