^ Audi's interiors are best out of the big 3 german brands, but the new 6 series interior is a big step up for BMW. Audi better have nicer interiors and great exterior styling because Audi's handling and performance are behind BMW and Mercedes.....

It is true to some point, in the lower mainland, china mainlanders will buy it just for the badge and/or the fact that it is expensive. But they are also the ones that will cheap out when it comes to maintanence, service, or repairs.

That might be true, but BMW does not slack on their designs due to that. That would be the most retarded thing for any company to do, and is only the formula for failure in the future.

Yup, BMW does think exclusively about lower mainland when they redesign their vehicles. And yes, Chinese only buy them for the badge, because there are no other luxury cars out there. :rolleyes:

Edit:

BMW has always been down to earth simple design vehicle. Simple design lasts longer, and people get used to it, then familiarity is liked. What they sell is a driving experience and they spend more effort on that, they do very well at that too.

Recently, Infinity, Lexus and others have made their interior so luxurious that it forces BMW to try an incorporate more changes while trying to keep it simple. That is a hard task and I think they did great with this car in particular.

seriously, what do they know about cars or BMW to be specific? I bet most of them don't even own a car before they immigrate to Canada.

All asian baby boomers say the same thing "Benz is luxury and safe, BMW is sporty and safe, volvo is a brick, not sure about Audi but it should be great"

They only believe expensive + foreign = good.

+1 judging from the forthcoming BMW models I'd say they have the leading edge. Audi interior is getting a little bland and so are their exteriors. BMW is definitely stepping the game up. As for mercedes, interior has gone since the current C class came out IMO, very rough and materials weren't as soft touch as they were before
