| Considering this Z4M from Ontario, like some input
So I'm in the market for a convertible and I come across this car in Jim Patterson Volvo. It is a 2006 model from Ontario for $35,000.
The carproof report is here
Aside from possible rust in the brake/fuel lines, is there any reason I should stay away?
Thanks for the input.
EDIT: Link should work now

Would rather get a low, low mileage US car for that price. You can get it for about $30k USD for a 2007/2008 mint Z4M with under 10k miles.

IMO, it's not worth it at 35g's.
Obviously rust with an ontario car is a consideration. As well, should you choose to sell the car down the road the out of province status will affect your resale in the local market because of the rust stigma.
As well, are you going to ship the vehicle here? Freight is about $800 from Ontario.
Locally, you can get a 1 year newer car for $38g's : Link
An '06 that likely sold quickly, but was listed at $28g's: Link
Another '06 right at the price point you are looking for. I'm sure you could knock off about 2-3g's off the asking price at least: Link
Like I said. For an out of province vehicle, 35g's is no deal.

LOL whoever took down the odometer reading on april 21 must still have been high from 4/20 224070 odometer reading?!?!
I'd expect the convertible to be worth a little less than that, seems like the right price for a coupe IMO though. Car was stolen but I don't think that's a major issue as long as it's been inspected which seems like it has

LP Auto is not necessarily a Kingsway style dealer. I know they typically import US cars. Located on # 3 near Richmond Center. The Z4M is listed as local so it may have been a trade or something.
Good luck!

LP auto is a run by some impolite, inpatient, and ignorant bunch of sales. All they want is my money and care less about my concern about importing US cars for me. Am I gonna do it again with LP auto and hand them a deposit cheque of $10,000 ? Hell no, I would rather pay a bit more to buy from a legit dealer that have the car in stock !

No deal. We just sold an 06 (roadster mind you, but they are similarly priced) for $28,600 with 41k, BC car with no accidents. For $35k you can get a US 07 with a bit of warranty left. This was our 06:

Something is wrong. | oh shit brah!
the car went from 8000k in the fall of 07 to 225k in april of 08! then back to 10k in may and 16k in september....
THE ONLY LOGICAL EXPLAINATION IS THE OWNER DID 215,000kms over the winter in like 5 months (an average of about 1500km PER DAY EVERY DAY) and then rolled the Odometer back.
how did anyone miss that?!
