Not sure if this is the same for Rogers. But on fido when I was away for 3 months just changed it to a 15$ plan which saved a bit of money. I guess it mostly depends on your data contract. On fido I have a separate contract for it :/ Posted via RS Mobile |
No they won't lower ur plan. Unless ur military or govt personell. Anyways just remove all ur options like calldisplay Posted via RS Mobile |

my call display is free... i dont have any options besides my data plan... everything else is credited or is part of my data plan... |
Back in the day I was able to run the remaining 10 months or so for $7/mth. That was with bell. I doubt you could do that now tho. Posted via RS Mobile |
Couple years back I was away for 3 months and had telus "freeze" my account meaning I only got charged $10 a month, but they added 3 months onto the contract(extending it) call up rogers and explain your situation I think its *611 |
they'll probably disable your sim but still charge you $10/ month or something don't you have a friend or relative that could use the number and pay for you ? |
They will charge you a "minimum plan" for like $10 or $15 dollars/month like that. Otherwise, try selling your plan on Craigslist |
