Can I go down using nexus even though my passport is expired? |
^^ On land crossings, that should not be a problem at all. If you are going by sea or air, however, that would probably not work. |
This is the general rule of thumb when it comes to whether you need just the Nexus card, passport, or both. Land = Nexus Air & sea = Nexus & passport |
Is the left lane for Nexus? That's a pretty big lineup. http://images.drivebc.ca/bchighwayca...cameras/13.jpg |
^^ Nope, at Peach Arch, the right most lane (ie. the lane furtherest left in the picture) is the Nexus lane. |

Yes I went down a few weeks ago when my passport was being renewed. No questions asked. |
^ yep I did the same thing... And when my new one came I logged into GOES online and updated my passport number. |

You're correct, it's 12am coming into Canada via Blaine. FYI: Hours of service into Canada Seven days a week 7 a.m. to midnight Hours of service into U.S. Seven days a week 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/prog/nexu...terre-eng.html |

EDIT: Just realized riff raff posted the hours. Confirms the 9PM close time for southbound. |
Went for a gas run, it was a 120 minute wait coming into Canada, Nexus lane not even 5 minutes. Epic. |
Anyone here had their Nexus card replaced before? I had to call into the nexus office to report my Nexus card stolen after my car was broken into few days ago. I have to wait again for another interview, but this time I could do a walk in and the process is much faster than a person applying for first time. Just seeing if anyone had gone through this process. Anyone? |

I left in my center console inside after going to the US last week. I know, stupid me for leaving such a thing inside the car. |
Might been asked before, could you take the Iris Scan at the Nexus office on the day of the flight and expect to use the Iris Scan right away? |
Is anyone in the process of renewing right now? I started my renewal process like a month and a half ago and I've been checking in to see if the status has changed and its still pending review ... is it just really long now a days cause of the influx of new applicants or does it usually take this long for it to get approved Also, what are the chances I'll have to book another interview for a renewal? I haven't really changed much, I updated my work info with a few more items but that's pretty much it ... |

I just did my scan and from what they told me it'll be active after 24 hrs, I'll doubt you'll be able to use it right away. Why not do it early and do a drop in at the main street office. I did mine last week and it was literally under 10 minutes in and out on a Wednesday afternoon. |

I double checked to make sure I don't have to book an interview, there isn't a spot anywhere that asks me to do it (its been 5 years since I last saw this page so I don't remember what exactly I'm looking for) ... but it seems like I'm all set ... I guess I'm just lucky and my information didn't change drastically enough to require another interview ... |
