My wife did her renewal application one week after I did and she already got an email for her appointment

Log into your account and take a look. You might not need an interview/appointment again. My wife need to book an appointment but I didn’t need to.

Thanks

So apparently I had to set up my account again on the GOES site. Is this the same site for checking my renewal status?

nexus changed it from GOES to a new US site so yes you must do a new account on there. my wife was in the middle of awaiting confirmation of renewal and it just transfers over. she got updates on her confirmation and selected an appointment on the new site.

Thank you

Is it just me or is the GOES site difficult to navigate? It keeps sending me in circles and I can't find a way to login to check my status

NEXUS border pass

So I just got an update from GOES and it says that I am approved.
Does that mean no interview then?
If I want a new picture for my card I guess I would have to make an appointment at one of their offices to take a new one?

NEXUS border pass

So I just logged in again and there is only options for lost, stolen or damaged cards.
I was wanting a new picture b/c I shave my head now. Lol
Forget the new picture, there is a $25 for replacement cards.

I did mine a few years back but it only took me 1.5 - 2 weeks before it arrived. I'd definitely call them and ask what's going on, because it shouldn't take anywhere close to that long.

Anyone recently renewed their nexus? Just read on here there's no more GOES website but a new one in replacement seems to be more user-friendly. 5 years ago it was 6 months to get one; a co-worker stated it was 5 weeks process and they won't let you fill out the paperwork until 3 month prior to expiry; Is this true?

I renewed mine a few months back and it was still on the GOES website. It was super simple. No in-person interview. Nothing.

They didn't update my photo, so yeah.

They have a new site and it’s super friendly to use. I had to create an email account for my son to register him. I don’t know if kids can use a parent’s email address..

Mine will be expiring in Jun.. I’ll start my process next month just in case.

Crap that sux. Children under a certain age (3? 4?) cannot obtain a Gmail account. Just can't. And then what are they supposed to do?

Certainly a parent's email address would suffice? The old GOES website uses a non-email address as the login ID anyway.

Outlook.com lets you create a kids account that has to be linked to a parent /guardian.

I think it's 6 months prior to expiry that you can renew. I was able to submit my renewal application in early December and mine doesn't expire until April. The approval process took about 3-4 weeks, and I had to do an interview which had availability for 1-2 weeks out from the approval date, so it looks like things are a bit more streamlined now. Granted, this was right around the Christmas/New Year time period where things may have been a little slower.

racerman88 03-30-2018 09:00 AM

I renewed mine about six months before expiry all online and it was painless

Applied for Nexus renewal on the new Trusted Traveler Program site (https://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov/) last Saturday and I'm still awaiting approval. Will update when it goes through. Hopefully, I won't need to go in for an interview.

FN-2199 04-06-2018 02:12 PM

I renewed mine in early March on the new site. Just received it earlier this week with no interview.

Quick (relatively) and painless!

I renewed my Nexus near the end of March and it was just approved recently. No interviewed required.

Ch28 05-16-2018 02:01 PM

6.5 weeks later and I'm still in the "pending review" status

Yikes.

I applied for my nexus for the first time 2 weeks ago and am also in "pending review". See you in 5 more weeks

m3thods 05-16-2018 03:08 PM

If it's any indication, I signed my daughter up as soon as I got the birth certificate and it took just under 8 weeks to get conditionally approved.

320icar 05-16-2018 03:41 PM

Too many people have nexus now. Sunday evening I got through regular peace arch way faster, nexus was so backed up it even said on the overhead sign for nexus to reroute to truck crossing
