Holy crap, renewal approved. That took less than a week.

mb_ 03-10-2019 03:39 PM

Is there a minimum time window before you can renew? Mine is expiring in January 2020, wonder if I should/can renew now

Bender Unit 03-10-2019 07:49 PM

So my son’s NEXUS was expired last Dec 2018
Does He need to re-apply his application or just submit for renewal ?
He is 6 years old

There is no NEXUS/Global Entry at Singapore - it's not part of US, Canada or Mexico

They're very efficient anyways so there's usually not much of a wait.

RiceIntegraRS 03-31-2019 11:50 AM

Questions for the border. Me and a bunch of friends plan to goto Portland for a couple days. Do we all have to return to Canada in the same car we came into the US in?
Some of us need to be back earlier than the rest of the group

6793026 03-31-2019 12:36 PM

u can came in however way you like. some of you can bus, fly and be in multiple cars.

twitchyzero 04-02-2019 10:55 PM

just don't walk back into Canada if you're the only one in the group without nexus :troll:

EDawg 04-21-2019 08:50 PM

Just make sure to let the border guard know when you hand your card over that you already have a pending renewal.

Anyone apply for renewal during the summer get their approval/interview schedule? Helped my wife apply for renewal end of June and it's still in pending status.

Speed2K 11-12-2019 04:51 PM

PiuYi 11-12-2019 09:55 PM

My wife renewed hers back sometime June or July and same status. Still pending and hers expires in January 2020. Im getting a little worried about mine as it expires April next year and I haven't even thought of renewing it until now.

Well you can still use it for 6 months past the expiry date.

twitchyzero 11-15-2019 04:26 PM

i went knocking on their door at CBSA's main street office since they werent returning calls:

current backlog is 4-6 months due to Trump's partial shutdown

application review is often times not in chronologically order, sounds like bs "some officers work faster than others" yeah by 3 months?!

you can print out proof of payment for the renewal before existing card expires and continue using the expiring/expired card for 12 months

hope that helps, as suspected everything is arbritrary af...good thing it's only $10/year or i'd be fuming at the ridiculous inefficiency

Nvasion 11-18-2019 01:18 PM

4 months and waiting..
