Christmas and NYE events in hong kong...

I'll be in Hong Kong this Christmas all the way through new years. I wanted to find some sites for things to do/events in Hong Kong on those two days but am having trouble finding anything.

Where would be a good starting point to see what's out there?

Xmas and NYE are always fun in HK.
Check out Mongkok, Fa Yuen Street, Tsim Sha Tsui, Shatin there are some fun events outdoors.
Lotsa walking festivals (booths) selling cheap stuff, but mostly just being on the streets are fun enough.
The lights & crowd will be packed everywhere.

Go hang out with foreigners from different countries at Lang Kwai Fong's variety bars/pubs.
Have fun.

Bring a jacket its cool windy weather now... Even thought its 20+ degrees.

Go to Lan Kwai Fong at night time. Last time I was there for Christmas the streets were packed.. Awesome atmosphere.

This year in LKF might be a bit more tame as the entire California Tower is being turned into a mall. Wan Chai is where a lot of rowdy people are going to be but LKF might still be worth a shot.
