Never had a real tree (except at my grandparents) we always had a fake one

wanted to get a real one at my cousins apartment but we were told the apartment doesn't allow real trees?! WTF is up with that?! (place in yaletown)

I think its a huge fire hazard, many apts I lived in never allowed real trees.

The last time (the only time) I bought a live tree for XMas resulted in the house being infested with fucking insects. Even after I hosed it down and shook the shit out of it. Those fokkers hatched and reproduced three generations in a week - god damn little buggers.

The last thing I need is Lyme disease in the middle of winter, LOL.
